Mikala has been a defining presence in the Australian contemporary art sector for nearly two decades.

Most recently, as Head of Visual Arts at Creative Australia, she served as Project Director for Archie Moore’s kith and kin, which received the Golden Lion at the 2024 Venice Biennale, the first Australian work to be awarded the prize. In the past year, she has worked towards delivering Khaled Sabsabi’s two Venice projects for 2026, returned to writing and been advising Paris-based arts foundation Kadist.

Before Creative Australia, Tai was Director of 4A Centre for Contemporary Asian Art in Sydney. She has previously held roles at the National Gallery of Victoria and at the groundbreaking Para site art space in Hong Kong.

In 2016, she completed her PhD at the University of New South Wales, which was an examination of how Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Hong Kong each generated distinct contemporary art infrastructures in response to the political and urban conditions of their time.

In April 2026, Mikala was appointed as Curator of the next TarraWarra Biennial 2027, the tenth edition of the Museum’s landmark contemporary art exhibition program.

Liane Rossler is an artist, designer and curator who has worked in creative industries for fourty years, and has spent the last two decades focused on projects that intersect art, design and the environment.

Alongside her solo creative practice which is focused on beneficial and beautiful sustainable design, she is founder of Superlocalstudio which inspires collaborative, socially engaged cultural and creative projects. Liane was co-founder of Dinosaur Designs, and as a director and designer for twenty five years established stand alone stores in Sydney, Melbourne and New York.

She has been a member of the NSW Arts, Culture and Creative Industries policy Artist Advisory Panel, The City of Sydney Retail Advisory Board, Better Places Advisory Group Member at NSW Department of Planning and Environment, Knowledge & Innovation Hub Steering Group at Waverley Council, Public Art Committee at Waverley Council, a Climate Reality Leader, a UNSW Alumni ambassador, a 1 Million Women ambassador, and a member of The Voiceless Council.

Margaret Betterige is a freelance curator and heritage consultant with over 40 year’s experience in collection management and the interpretation of historic places.

Her many clients include the City of Sydney, the Supreme Court of NSW, NSW Parliament House, the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet and the City of Launceston.

She has led the interpretation of the Mint and Hyde Park Barracks, the former Parramatta Girls’ Home, the Female Factory, She is currently providing historical input to the public art in development for the new Integrated Mental Health Centre at Westmead Hospital.

Annelies Jahn is a multi-disciplinary artist with a Masters of Fine Art from the National Art School.

Her work has been exhibited in Australia and overseas. She has work in the National Art School Archive, Justin House Art Museum (Melbourne) and in private collections. Annelies was awarded The Onslow Storrier National Art School Cité internationale des arts, Paris Residency and has also received artist residencies in Sydney, and rural NSW. Jahn lectures at the National Art School and has previously been a director at STACKS Projects Inc., and ES74 Gallery. 

Annelies previously had an extensive professional career in graphic design and publishing, working in Sydney and London.

Kate is a passionate arts worker with experience developing artist-led public programming in national institutions, local government, and small not-for-profit galleries.

She is currently working in local government project managing large scale public art projects and creative space initiatives.

Underscoring Kate’s work is a commitment to championing accessibility within the arts. She is dedicated to providing equal access to both make and experience art in our society.
